Yeah, it's very depressing. The DV center where I work only serves five counties, most of which are made up of very small communities. We've had six DV-related homicides since last January. :S

Oh my goddess!

Our local paper publishes DV stats during the month of October. My frustration is why just in October? Why isn't it right beside the news of burglaries and other crimes? We hear more about prostitution arrests than DV arrests!

Maybe people would do more if it were in their face all the time.
