(no subject)
Unfortunately, today is cloudy so no beach for Ashy. This fills him with great saddness, for he counted on sitting on the beach and reading and hopefully catching a few glances of beautiful ladies to brighten his day.
Instead today I'm going golfing, ensuring that I spend at least 6 out of 7 days of my week on a golf course! Oh, how well I know it, because how often I do drive hither and thither over it.
It's not that I mind golfing, especially today on Father's Day, it's just simply that I would prefer to be sitting in the sun. But it has to be cloudy today and it would undoubtedly be nice when I am at work, and I really can't afford to take days off to go to the beach, as parking/gas would run me close to $20.
*le sigh*
I'm not sure if I hafta pay for golf today - we get weekdays free, but weekends we aren't supposed to. It entirely depends on who is working in the proshop...with any luck, I'll have good luck, although if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.
Luck has soured lately with regards to something. Things looked like they were going well but it is apparent that they are not. c'est la vie, c'est vrai.
I need to get moving on all the crap I hafta do. For both my independent study and various summer reading that I need to do. Oh my goodness, so many weeks already gone by and nothing done. Time to get ashy's rear in gear.
No gym today, but gym tomorrow, on account of walking 4 miles today. Whee golf!
