Appears to be responding to therapy
Firstly, a most bodacious birthday wish to Chris Postie on his big Four Zero. See you on Saturday at Doktor Smells mate!
Secondly, I survived my week snowboarding in Austria without a single injury, despite breaking my own personal speed record. (No I don't have a speedo fitted to my board, I judge my speed purely on how close I come to shitting myself, and I got a lot closer this time, so either I'm going faster or I'm losing my nerve.)
Mind you I had to indulge in some new kit - Oakley Jacket and Salopettes. The one day it rained/snowed I got saturated in my crappy old kit, and the new stuff rocks big bottoms. :O)
So there. Oh and the 46" TV is up and running above the fireplace. This also rocks. PS3 arrives in a week. I've also ordered the V+ TV service from Virgin, which'll get me BBC HD and HDTV on demand and a PVR box. Yum. What else.....erm.....Vista is now fully operational and I've got my Windows Mobile phone synching with it nicely. Just need to sort out a small bluetooth issue, ahem.
Still got some wiring left to do in the lounge - need to connect the sound on the laptop to the surround system, via the TV's audio outputs. The picture at 1024x768 looks pretty darn good. I got a bluetooth keyboard/trackpad which lets me surf the net from my sofa without wires, awesome!
Next thing to do is install Orb on my server so that the PS3 can stream pics, mp3s and video from it to the TV. Yuss.
