JOBS!
After stressing out way too much when I went to submit my application to work at the YMCA again this summer, and the website telling me they weren't accepting applications at my location anymore, I e-mailed my old boss. He wrote back that they are still accepting applications, and he's not sure what happened with the website, and then asked if I wanted to work with K-Power again, because Victoria, by K-power colleague wasn't coming back, and it would be great to have someone with experience working with the kindergarteners. So basically, I pretty much for sure have a job for the summer. Which has taken a huge weight off my shoulders, as applying for a new job I haven't worked at before from another country was going to be very difficult, as interviewing even by phone would be hard and costly, and I will have limited access to internet when I start traveling again in a week.
On a side note, they have opened up a Trader Joe's in Minnetonka, right near my YMCA, so in addition to conveiniently working near every other store imaginable I will also be working right by my favorite grocery store, and will not have to trek all the way out to Maple Grove in order to get yummy high-quality but reasonably priced cheese :)
