This reaction to a rather innocuous blog post seems a little over the top. Surely you can see that "personally attacking anyone who doesn't agree with them and abandoning reason and political discourse" can just as easily be applied to people on the left. James Carville comes to mind ... some of your comments about Palin too.
As for Bush, I really don't accept the points you make about him. Many people do share your views though. That being said, my point was that Bush is not evil, nor a dictator. To say that he is evil suggests one knows his motives. I believe George W. Bush is a well intentioned man with whom people disagree. As a result many people on the left want to call him evil or a dictator, which I believe is ridiculous.
To take this further, I believe that the act of aborting an unborn child is akin to killing a human life. Obama favours liberalizing abortion laws throughout the US. Can I therefore assume he is evil because in my view he wants to make it easier to kill unborn children? Though many people might, I do not. I would suggest that George W. Bush is owed as much.
