Ch--ch-ch--ch-changes!
The new job is - weird. I mean, I'm all about being closer to home, but I'm taking a pay cut to do the work of what's clearly going to be two or three people for a little while. Some changes need to happen at the new place, I'll see what I can do about that.
I'm making use of the extra time, I've already written 2,800 words for the day, 2,000 of which are for that first novel I'm trying to hammer out. I'm at 34,000 total. shushmouse was actually kind enough to give me some space for my writing with its own URL. I'll be shifting a lot of my writing stuff to it, and I may or may not keep this blog for personal stuff. I suppose I'll figure all that out as time goes on. We're still working on getting life together, have some big life changes going on like thinking about getting a house, changing our living situation, the Mouse's job stuff, my own future plans, etc. We've managed to be slightly social and I'm in a D&D game for the moment, though that may change due to my work schedule. If I can't keep going forward with it, like every other time I've managed to get into a D&D campaign - I'll enjoy the time I spent there and try to apply it the next time around.
