Smallholding
Hey, this is the first I ever post something in my journal since I became a member in december 2006! But I really wanted to inform my LJ friends about a project one of my favourite actors is planning: Chris New from the outstanding movie "Weekend" is planning to direct a feature film called "Smallholding". It´s going to be the movie version of the play by Chris Dunkley. I saw the play this may in Southampton/England at the Nuffield theatre and it is an amazing piece of writing, smartly constructed and cleverly written, changing from a light comedy to a heartwrenching, gripping drama in only one hour. To realize this project Chris New and Chris Dunkley are collecting money through kickstarter and I really, really hope they will get the sum.
