Aww, nice fic. Good characterisation. Leaves me feeling sad for Ryan but pleased that he's found a new place.

I'm still learning my way around writing for Ryan and the rest of the CSI characters - all of them - so thanks for the boost of confidence that I'm sorta getting some of 'em right. ^_^

I never liked how everyone kinda just did the whole cold shoulder/stiff routine with Ryan, and even now in the new season they're still treating him like an outcast. Sure, he's got problems and he's made a lot of mistakes but dang it so have they all! From Horatio on down to Alexx, they've all screwed up something terrible but it just seems that Ryan is the odd man out. *unhappy sigh*

*channels Alexx* My poor baby just needs a hug and some home cooking.

It's a constant bugbear for me that he's the one that gets in trouble (and big trouble) for his mistakes, where everyone else gets away with theirs. And some *glares at Horatio* don't seem to make any at all. Not fair!

*volunteers to give Ryan hugs*

I know what you mean and right there with you 100%. It's one of the major flaws in the CSI: Miami continuity. It's like everyone but Ryan gets a pass on being bad/wrong/misunderstood and poor Wolfe gets everything heaped on them to take up the slack. *shakes head*

*hands a clip and a pen* Sign on the dotted line for offical volunteer status and then get to hugging!

And on a completely different note: Thanks to two of your drabbles I'm having to - not going to or even want to; HAVING TO - write Twin!Wolfes fiction. But we both knew that two of Ryan is better than one.
