I went on Safari this weekend. Oh. My. God.
Let me start of by saying, we were lucky. We were probably the luckiest safari group, um, ever. Our guides were excited by what we saw, and they see that stuff like 5 times a month.
I don't really know what to say. I could fill pages and pages about it, I feel like, yet there are not enough words to do so. I took lots of pictures but they will never do it justice. Just....wow.
We saw lions, some more lions, lions mating, baboons, 4 (FOUR) cheetas, zebras and wildebeasts up the wazoo...I don't want to sit here listing everything I saw. It was just incredible.
In case you want to look up where we went, we did a cultural tour of the Masaai people, then spent a day in the Ngororo crater, and then a half day at Lake Manyara.
I'll have a more extensive write-up of the trip when I come home and print this whole thing out and make a book of it. Which I plan on doing.
I can't wait to see the kids again tomorrow.
