future plans
I have decided to work at Watershed for at least a yr. When that time ends, around June I am going to apply for a job at the VA Hospital. I am hoping that they would hire me in my specialty field. But in reality i would probably take anything. The more I learn the more places i can work. Now that i think about it, I will probably submit my application a few months prior to my yr anniversary. I hear the process is a long one and could take up to 6 months to get in. I am hoping that having had realitives in the army might help me get a foot in the door. Once accepted all sorts of dreams open up for me. I could travel/transfer to any state in the united states. Last week i was pricing homes in in N & S Carolina. This week I am pricing Farms for sale in Iowa. Wouldnt it be great to surprise my grandma and grandpa one morning and say "surprise i just bought the farm out of town" (dreaming is grand) :)
