Welcome to PLOT. It is time to fight the good fight, kick ass from moral high ground and get the satisfaction of helping the cause of freedom.
First things first: the area is rocky and mountainous, with lakes, streams and patches of woods. The arrival and exit point would be an old WWII bunker, broken open but standing enough whole for a door. From the arrival, each team receives a map and their instructions of where to go and what to do. If everybody is okay, we can handwave previous gatherings where strategy and plans were discussed, for the sake of internal logic.
Next, the general rule for this OOM is "god away", meaning, they are facing normal rank-and-file conscripts. Sneaking is a matter of common sense and timing, but unless you want your pup to get in trouble, you can assume things work out fine. Also, in combat, feel free to do stunts as you wish.
For those unfamiliar with the setting as a whole, Tanya comes from an 'alternative history' world: in her Earth, there was no Adolf Hitler. He simply did not exist. The Nazi party never rose to power, and so World War II happened twelve years later, when Josef Stalin sent his Red Army to conquer Europe. This new war was more destructive than the 'normal' one was in other Earths, but was finally won.
The Allied High Command placed a Romanov in the new Russian government, thinking a member of the old imperial family would be glad to rebuild the Soviet Union down a road of peace.
In the early 60's, Premier Alexander Romanov, commanding a powerful new, rebuilt Red Army, attacked North America in three fronts, while keeping the European Nations from interfering by threatening nuclear bombardment.
The mission is simple, but not easy: disabling the command center for the eastern Europe missile system, so Germany, France and England can mobilize and open a new front against Russia, and hopefully stop Romanov from sending more troops to North America.
So, what is at stake? Just, turning the tide of war.
No pressure.
Now, questions go here, and this thread section will be removed before the OOM is posted, when completed.
Dark, and warm, since it is deep winter in Europe, in a mountainous area.
Yes, ice and snow a-plenty.
Equipment... well, just about anything you want to bring, since plasma weapons and lasers are being deployed to battlefields in her world. They are supposed to get out of there before reinforcements start to arrive in numbers.
Wherever you think he would fit better? They might need his ice powers in the bunker assault (team three), but along with Ben he can also be very good at disabling power and rescuing prisoners (team one).

Yeah...you dropped that thread, and I don't even think they got as far as introductions (meh. It happens.) But we can just assume they know each other from around the bar and are aware in the difference in universes if that works for you.
I was just rereading the original sign up sheet and noticed one more person should be on the Diversion Team, Sariel. As much fun as Bobby and Ben are about to get into maybe we should pause and wait for Sariel to tag in?
Sorry being brain dead. The Diversion team's main focus is to knock out the power and make as much noise as possible to make the jobs of the other teams easier right?

And I agree, basic assumptions are fine for me. Maybe Ben is keeping his distance so as to not mess with timelines...yeah that's the ticket!. = D
