[Locked to Kage // 30% unhackable]
Hey, Kage, got something I wanted to talk with you about. Any chance we could meet up somewhere?
[Locked to Herz // 30% unhackable]
This is out of the blue, and after earlier probably really bad timing, but d'you wanna hang out for a bit?

[Kage doesn't bother with a lock because Tan can't secure the information high enough, and the First Mate knows damn well any of the more computer-literate types no doubt read everything they can, the nosy scamps.]
Reply
[Not really a point in locking his reply if the First Mate isn't going to either. Besides, it's not like he's really trying to hid what he's up to.]

[Kage holds his comm away from his mouth so Tan can hear the dinging of the casino machines. It's dim by the second bar, with subdued lighting, and people don't go there often. It's one of Kage's favourite places to do paperwork in.]

[It doesn't take him long to get to where Kage is. Tan takes a seat nearby, mindful of the papers. Paperwork: his least favorite part of any job. For all he's inclined to pick something up and fiddle with it, he doesn't, though his fingers twitch.]
Hell of a place for paperwork, man.

[Kage's got a nice little setup at the bar. The folder is spread out in front of him and there's one pile for completed forms, a bottle of vodka, a glass of vodka over rocks and cigarettes with an ashtray. Kage's using a fountainpen with deep black ink and his eyes scan up and down the sheets, initialling "F.M. KaM" here and there, adding up this column and that stack of short figures.
The papers themselves seem to be in a variety of languages. Some words and phrases are in English for Tan to read, but the majority is ciphered in a variety of shifting, mutable scripts.]

[Tan's not even going to try and read the paperwork--it's just bad form, all around. He settles his elbows on the counter and glances over.]
Right, so. I'm gonna say it, because I know and you probably know I don't really have jack I need to talk to you about.
[He ticks the points off on his fingers.]
I understand you go for guys. What a coincidence, I do, too. You're not half fucking bad looking. You wanna get laid?

Is this your game, man? It work often?
[He's stopped paperwork, though. That's a good sign.]

Straightforward tends to work more often than dancing around the bush.

[Kage slaps the file folder closed and puts the cap on his pen. He pushes the cup full of ice and vodka across the bar towards Tan and picks up the bottle of vodka to take a swallow for himself.
He's smiling lopsidedly when he finishes, and the look he's giving Tan is a little bit challenging, cocky, smirking.]
Reply
[Because strictly speaking...no. He doesn't like dancing. Not the point.
It doesn't even occur to Tan to question the offered drink. He catches the cup and lifts it, matching Kage's smile with a grin of his own. He mouths a "cheers" before taking a drink. The vodka is a familiar, friendly burn.]

[Kage sets the bottle down and looks over at Tan. He holds out his hand and crooks a finger.]
So c'mere. I got time. You got time. Lessee if you're too fuckin' picky to dance my kinda tune, man.
Reply
[The ice clinks in the glass when Tan puts it down. He slides out of his seat and steps closer to Kage, still smiling.
Well. The man is nothing if not confident.]
Alright. Let's hear your tune, yeah?

His hand rises, threads into Tan's hair to test his reaction to being touched. Kage's run into guys who are alright with sex, but refuse to kiss or allow their faces to be touched, and Kage doesn't tolerate that.
His grip on Tan's long, silky black hair is firm and he doesn't pull or tug, just holds it and pulls Tan's face towards his.
His eyes watch, going half-lidded, but the smirk remains.]

He closes the distance between them--such as it is, at this point--leaning over Kage and resting a hand on the man's thigh. If Kage won't initiate a kiss? Tan will.]
Reply
I dunno, man, you in the mood for chess?
[He leans forward, inhales just in front of Tan's lips, flirting.]
Reply
Never was very good at chess.
[Well, damned if Kage's not a tease. And damned if Tan doesn't like it. He leans his weight forward a little, a little less relaxed, a little more intent.]
