I had the flu

Yeah. I had the flu for a while. You may ask "why didn't you post in your livejournal when you were sick and had nothing better to do" and the answer is simply that i just could care less about livejournal. Honestly. It's fun sometimes to post a little shpeal about what's going on in your life. But that's it for me. I don't plan to meet people with it or look hip. I've tried to keep the layout as dull as possible (it was a stretch for me just to find an icon)

I don't think anyone cares about what's posted in it. When I do write in it i try to write truthfuly unless im writing something crazy. For those of you still reading this whole post is going to be about me thinking livejournal is everything BUT a waste of my time (it's close though) If you want a journal write a real one like I do. Do you honestly think this data here that you're writing is going to be around in 5 years? 10? Digital is not the way to go if you want longevity.

Also, the content of alot of your posts out there. Honestly people, is this the kind of stuff you want to save and read in 10 years? Let me rephrase that. Is this the kind of shit you want OTHER people to stumble upon 10 years from now? You really want them to see you as an angst filled teen going through boyfriend problems?

Right now the only people i know who make any kind of intelligent posts are Betsy and Fred, and sometimes Ian contributes something worth reading.

Now do I MIND reading your LJ's? Of course not. It's interesting to see other people trying to be dramatic or funny. Sometimes they do a good job too. I like reading it because i can say "hey, i remember when i used to have that same attitude!" And that's kind of cool.

This isn't meant to insult anyone. I'm on drugs for my fucking flu and I'm bored and it's late. Anything i just wrote should probably not be taken seriously. This claim is doubly important because i'm not even going to try and spellcheck what i just wrote.

I hope you all live happily ever after.
