Ah. I hate that feeling of dread one gets after she turns in a test...and then remembers some things she left out. Not to mention I have so many kinds of clinical evaluations Thursday ( Read more... )

Seishiro
'Subaru-kun's hands are small, maybe too small for a boy of his age, and always hid by gloves that hid marks no one else carried for so long, but what makes them really special and never fail to leave Seishiro puzzled is the way they fit perfectly into his and, more than once, he wonders if that's supposed to mean something.'

Subaru
'Subaru closes his eyes as he smokes, inhaling slowly and, as he does so, he remembers warm arms wrapped around himself while his head rests on a broad chest. The memory lasts only as much as his cigarette and it's as palpable as smoke but Subaru doesn't care as he lights himself another cigarette and indulge himself in his worst addiction, Seishiro-san's memories.'

Kakyou
'The stairs seem to never end in his dreams and he kept climbing painful step after painful step, dragging his injuried body in the false hope he'll be in time. As agonizing as this can seems it's way better than the reality that let him reach his destination only to face Hokuto's death.'

Hokuto
'Hokuto isn't sure what Seishiro had in mind when he broke her brother's arm and heart but she's sure the man loves Subaru, his own way, and she's ready to give her life to make him realize this, even if it'll hurt Subaru because, she's sure, being loved by Sei-chan, will help her brother to recover from the pain of her loss. She has no idea this realization will end up destroying any chance her brother had to be happy...'

I know, I know, they are rather pitiful, sorry... *hides in shame*

J.J., your works are always so sweet and lovely. They are anything but pitiful, and they cheered me up wonderfully! Strange how sad drabbles can cheer me up, ne? For some reason, I really liked the Kakyou one...maybe because I can really visualize climbing those steps... (so many steps at school and hospital...)

*blush*
I'm glad they worked!
LOL
The Kakyou's one is one of the few if not the only thing I wrote based on the anime and not on the manga... but I find that scene particulary beautiful...
