pool update
- Even though Live Nation's still programming @ McCarren Park, there also seems to be affordable/free/diverse events this summer again The Renegade Craft Fair's taking place there this weekend! Swoon.
- The Mayor included the pool in his budgeting and plans for the city.
- Now, there are meetings to (once again*) help shape how this space will evolve over the next few years. If you're in NYC, I'll see you there.
Will post more after the meeting.
*There was a (controversial) design ready when money was first designated for pool development, pre-9/11. The process will apparently start all over again.
