Geeze!

I added up all the cleaning hours for the house, Mikes were seperate. All but one room is done and I'm letting ServPro do that - ok, two rooms (the "office" is minimal).

At $28.50ph which includes cleaning supplies, the furnace company owes me $3088.47. They still need to pay $209 for another company to come out and do diagostics and there is a marked increase in water & utility use on cleaning days.**I finally added it all up with utilities and tax (which I will have to pay)) so this is the total they owe me!
ServePro *started* at $3100 and is down to $900 so either way, that money has to be paid.

I got a feeling this is going to small claims court - but at least I videotaped *everything* in the house before cleaning it with notes, specific amount of hours, and dates we cleaned. Every day I printed out the use of electric and gas, kept a log from the water meter out by the road. Its too well documented to dispute...well, it can be disputed but its gonna cost a whole lot more if I have to go to court to get it.

pppppppppppffffffffffffffttttttttttttt!

Addition: The HEPA filters are shot from over-heating and will need to be replaced as well. That is also something the heating company will have to pay for ($870).
All in all, it cost this company close to $1900 more to screw up the installation of a new furnace than what I paid for it.

Life doesn't get much more amusing that this.....
