Remember the Days in the Old School Yard

Chuck and I haven't seen each other in years, but I recently did a google search on his name and found him. Given the uniqueness of his name and the fact that I knew that he was going places, I wasn't too suprised that I was able to track him down do easily. He's a rocket scientist and teaches at Washington State. He also has a great book, Wild to the Last, on the Clearwater region in Northern Idaho. He's a modern-day John Muir.
He seems to be now as I remember him: scientist, high adventurer, avid environmentalist and general pain in the collective Establishment's ass.
