tiredness makes things funny.
Right now:
-I am in Katie's room using her computer. Katie is sleeping in her bed. Cass in in Katie's roommate's bed. Sleeping. I love Cass's sleeping. We can always tell when she's fallen asleep.
-Many of us Americans here in the CR have been up since, well, all night. I took a nap between the hours of 2 and 440am. So tired. So hungry.
-We're waiting on Ohio.
In other non-political and non-sleeping news...I am tired of all of the food I eat here. Must branch out. Pasta, bleh. Cheese and bread, bleh. Smageny syr..no thanks. Even zmrzlina has lost a lot of its appeal. This is not good.
Two nights ago, a few of us went to a screening of Supersize Me. Before the show started, two men spoke about the film in czech. I understood about 1/40 of what they said. And then a man dressed as a giant cheeseburger came out and made people laugh. About this czech language thing. Just to illustrate how little I will have learned by the end of the semester. There are 8 cases in Czech. We have learned 2 so far. What about the other 6? Or even just the most frequently used ones? No, no..we will not learn those in class. We learned how to conjugate verbs in the present tense. What about the past tense? Nope, we won't be learning that. And the future tense? Of couse not. Hooray for the beginners czech class. to neni dobre.
Cass and Katie are now awake. Cass's input to this post: "I only want jon stewart to hold me and tell me everything will be alright." And Katie's: "I dont want to go to class in an hour. I'm going to be in a freaking czech class when the results come in."
I shouldn't post this, this is gibberish. Cass paces. Katie comments on it.
