So apparently my computer isn't being repaired. They originally told me that it would be repaired, but that the repairs needed to be approved by me. So they sent it back. I approved the repairs in an email, and sent it back in. Now they're telling me that the after market ac adapter I bought isn't compatible with it, and never was able to power it on. I guess it's been running on hopes and dreams for the past nine months.

I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, but I'll probably end up taking it to Office Depot now, since I bought an additional two year warranty from them.
