Tales of Phantasia GBA set for a US release March 6th
The subject line says it all.
For anyone who doesn't know, the Super Famicom version of this game was the first in the series, and unlike other games in it it's storyline is believed to be directly related to Tales of Symphonia (which would be a prequel taking place 4000 years before.)
Nintendo's announcement uses the name "Cress" (a legitimate translation, though English fans and even the Japanese instruction manuals favor "Cless") but I guess I can live with that. At least the references made to him in Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny II (US) will finally make sense to people unfamiliar with ToP (both call him Cress, and ToD even has a mini games where you must guess his and Arche's names- rather unfair for US players, given that ToP has never before been released here!)
Next year looks like it will be a good one for Tales fans in the US- two games coming over so far, let's hope Tales of the Abyss will find its way here as well!
