I love cool, rainy autumn nights. I made a yummy dinner (whole wheat pasta with sauteed cauliflower, shallots, and thyme, with a splash of half and half and a bunch of gruyere. Which is an expensive cheese -- I was shocked when I saw how much I paid. Wren slept all day after staying up all night at bday party sleepover and she is still sleeping now, and the boys are glued to the tube, so it's peaceful here. I haven't posted in a long time, and when I started to, lj gave me the option of resuming the last entry I started. I don't remember what triggered this, but I totally agree with me: I think it's terrible that kids aren't allowed in libraries during school hours because of truancy laws. I cut school all the time and spent a good part of that time in the library. When I wasn't in the library I was usually getting high, and it seems to me that the library was a better choice. It's just strange; there's no sanctuary for kids skipping school but there ought to be because school really sucks for some kids.
