Justin just messaged me to ask what I thought of him going to a conference in California for a week this March. I don't know what he expects me to say. I'll hate it. I'll be jealous that I can't go and kinda resentful at being left in stinky old Baltimore in March with 3 kids while he spends a week in sunny, warm California hobnobbing with adults who share his interets. Christ, what should I think? I'm not telling him not to go but I'm not going to be a good scout about it either.
