Dear, Bradley said it in US Comic Com when they finished 409 but he had no idea about 410 to 413 at that moment. 4.11 is a Mary Sue piece to childish damsels in distriss, imagining a perfect guy will revolve around and can not live with them.
It must be a "wonder" that the producers can allow themselves to humiliate the Iconic Once and Future King to this level. I don't know how Colin and Bradley can handle some of the lines in this episode.
Really? After 4.09? So he knew they'd killed off Lancelot again? Though come to think of it 4.09 must have been planned when they sent Lancelot over the veil so he must have known what they planned for the G/L/A legend. And he still said that. Thats fascinating.
Yes, they've already shot 409 but I still can understand Bradley's understanding and he even blow Santiago a kiss during the interview when Katie is asked about love triangle (clearly he'd rather Arthur loves Lancelot and even Bradley is the most straight guy in my eyes).
409 is BAD, in my eyes, becasue of the enchanted bracelet part, but not as BAD as 411. Some of the lines in 411 must be a huge JOKE.
You know what? The A/G is so pushed because they want every audience know Arthur is straight. I am fine with the romance but their writings is SO BAD and DESPERATE and CHEAP.
I think what bewilders me is that he was still talking about G/A falling apart & being dysfunctional wasn't he? Lancelot sort of being the end game - Gwen's true love? Even though he knew they'd killed of lancelot and disposed of the triangle to go for the disney ending? Have I misremembered that?.
Yeah the writing can be atrocious when they're on a mission and A/G is a mission for sure. They certainly *seem* to be running pretty scared of the slash overtones in the bromance - or maybe its just the A/M chemistry when they're allowed to show feelings for each other that worries them, because these feelings seem realistic and compelling. You cant fake chemistry. Theres also the fact that A and M have genuine conflict and uncertainty and obstacles in their relationship which makes it fascinating; A and G have none. Even when they try to make them up.
You know sometimes they have to WORK although the stuff is NOT what they want and convinced, whatever. Colin once commented that he was not yet in a postion that he could choose for the show/script/movie. But I do hope Bradley and Colin can soon get there while they can do more stuff they feel comfotable with and geniuely interested.
It's interesting that Bradley has said something like that, especially if was after he had already filmed/ read the script for e9. Because maybe it's the slasher in me imagining things, but I've always had the impression that Bradley isn't the biggest fan of Arthur/Gwen either. Do you still have the link for the interview, because I'd like to read/watch it?
BTW, this is a little out of topic, but I have to tell this to someone, who doesn't like Arwen either. I had a moment of temporary insanity, and I wrote in this Youtube video(from the scene where the princess leaves), that it would be easier to tolerate Arwen, if it wouldn't make Arthur act so OOC. And the responses I got - well, you'd think I had just announced that I enjoy killing puppies. =D Well, I'm not going to make that mistake again.
Really? Give me the link of that where you have those messages. Let me show you some support there. You don't have to care about those comments. Only losers in life will fancy a guy will always revolving around them like that.
How can Bradley like that? He is a mature grown up guy. No grown-ups with right mind set will like that CHEAP storyline.
Here's the link to Bradley saying lots of stuff that did not actually come to pass...(more's the pity...sigh) It's from the convention Bradley, Colin, Anthony, Santiago and Katie did in San Diego in July.
Thanks for the link, gatepromise. I love it, how it takes Bradley about 10 seconds to have all the interviewers wrapped around his fingers. =D Aanyhow..now I've seen it, it's possible that Bradley just said all that to get people more interested about the storyline. But you could really interpret it in a lot of ways. Though it's a little tragicomic to hear Bradley say, that Camelot always comes first for Arthur- when in last episode, they practicly had Arthur saying, that he cares more about Gwen than Camelot.
Marvelpku, thanks for the offer, but I've got some positive comments too, so it's not that bad. And they've left me in peace now. Besides, I'm feeling kinda stupid for mentioning it, because it's really just my problem.
