When I was being negative and depressed by 4x13, when I was saying that these writers suck big time and are not to be trusted ever again, I got accused of being bad, non-fan, overreacting and prematurely condemning, not here, in fan forums. I was sad, honestly sad to see that I was right by 5x02. After 5x05? I am just in a state of accepted nirvana, plain serene smile on my face. I've passed beyond anger, beyond sarcasm even, I am now just serenely into "I knew it/told you so" mode.
Julian Jones proved his incompetence to me with 4x13. This 5x08 did not surprise me either. Merlin the unappreciated doormat? Checked. Arthur the 2-year-old that can't dress himself? Sure, why not it's SO FUNNY!!! What? He's been seen able to dress himself before? Actually put on a shirt? He's an -gasp- adult?!? Aw, come on, let the kids have a laugh, who cares about character dignity. And Merlin dying alone? Such drama, eh?
What have TPTB been eating/drinking/smoking/hitting during their series 5 script meetings I really want to know. It will honestly help medicine, the severe mental cases.
Thank the Universe, this is the last series and the cast and crew are free now. Thank you, People!
Producers/Writers... thanks for the money, thanks for the cast and crew, I will not be checking any other show you'll make in the future, bye.

I can say with absolute confidence that the words Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy attached to any show will be like a skull and crossbones for me. Not going near.
