How's everyone been doing so far? If I can go by the posts, it seems like there's a lot of new people showing up. Well, I'm still sure we can pull together and figure a way out of here!
Speaking of, I walked a lot around the city today. This place is almost surrounded by an ocean! I've never seen so much of it before! I spent a few hours down on the beach there. If you can forget about the city, it's really beautiful, and peaceful, too.
...Oh, right, that's not my point. I took a good look at the desert that's beyond the beach. The city we're in now might be abandoned, but there's got to be other places out there! I've crossed plenty of desert back on my home planet. I'd say this was Gunsmoke if it weren't for the architecture, and the trees... I could do that here, but the main problem is finding enough supplies and drinkable water to make the trip. It'd be dangerous enough to go out there without knowing what's on the other side.
Have any of you come up with any ideas? I'm willing to help out wherever I can.
