For Fanime, 2011
I am so excited to be going as Gaara this year!
My friend, Brandy, is currently making most of my costume. I have been working on the gourd. I have pants, am waiting on shoes, and plan on dying my hair and getting it styled to be the right color. I am going to make a stencil to put the "tattoo" above my eye and I while I am still trying to think of ways to get rid of my eyebrows, I know that I will NOT be shaving them off. I like them too much for that.
On another note, the gourd is just about ready to be painted. I'm going to try to make some sort of tutorial out of it in order to help others if they so wish. It has been a LOT of fun making it and I am quite proud. Look forward to seeing it soon!
