Volkswagen update
Welp, bought my Black Forest Industries rear tower bar earlier. 48 dollars shipped to my door, one hell of a deal. I've heard nothing but great things about these guys. Considering that the Eurosport rear towre bar is 135 bucks plus shipping, paying 48 dollars shipped to by door for a BRAND NEW piece, you seriously can't pass that up. Hopefully, they sent me the infamous BFI tree air freshener with my order. Tomorrow the exhaust goes on. I've also got my eye on an OBD1 throttle body and intake manifold. I'm should be able them both shipped to my door for like 70 bucks, so if this guy responds on the VWVortex, I'm totally gonna pick these up. I'd like to try my hands at porting and polishing the upper and lower parts of the intake manifold, as well as boring and polishing the throttle body. I've heard that 8V's sound absolutely pissed with a decent exhaust (WHICH I HAVE NOW!! MUAHAHAHA.)Oh yeah, I'm also the high bidder on an Autotech adjustable cam gear, but I probably won't end up winning that, since there are a little less then two days left on it. *sigh* Pure VW joy.
