Remember me? I have six years of Japanese stuff to sell and am slowly making my way through photographing them. My husband helped me some which means the singles are all mixed together but there's a lot of Hikaru Genji in there, some Ninja, some Matchy. (I haven't found my Shounentai singles yet...) I hope you can make them out. It might be ( Read more... )

Hi! I'd like to know more about the Johnny's Visual Sensation (in photo 20). Could I see some additional pictures? Do you have a price in mind for it? Also, would you let me know once you come upon your Shounentai goodies (^_^)?

Johnny's Visual Sensation was published in 1995 and detailed the groups putting out music at the time as well as a peak back at the Johnny's timeline. You can see more pictures here/. I was thinking $10 for it? Oh, it comes with it's obi too! My last box is supposed to find its way to me tomorrow and my sister says it's "full of CDs," so I think my Shounenetai singles will be debuting shortly. I'll let you know!

Thank you for getting back to me, and thank you for the pictures. Do you mind if I ask you one more question about the book? Is the focus of the book mainly the active groups as of 1995, or is the book primarily a recap of Johnny's from the 60s to 1995? I'm interested more in the acts from the 80s than the "newer" groups (as of 1995), so I was just wondering how much coverage they had in the book.

The book has articles/interviews about/with: Kenichi Okamoto and Shoji Narita from Otokogumi; all the members of TOKIO; Shinya Masaki, Nobuhide Takagi, Naoto Endo and Susumu Yanagisawa from Ninja; all the members from Shounentai; all the members of Hikaru Genji Super 5; all six members of SMAP; both of the Kinki Kids and a spread of the Johnny's baseball game from 1994.

Thank you for putting up photos of your Shounentai singles! Unfortunately, I don't see any that I need (T_T).

Thank you for telling me a bit more about the book. It's a little different from what I thought it might be, so I think I am going to pass.
