The Solstice was a couple of days ago. Mothers’ Night is tomorrow, the start of Yule proper. For those of you who celebrate Yule, Good Yule!
For those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas! To those who have different festivals or none, best wishes of your season to you!
And to all of you, a happy, prosperous and lucky New Year!

It seems longer: I think that is because when banhe and I came out of Tchai Ovna yesterday, it was getting dark, and by the time I got home it felt as though it was late at night, although in fact I was in early enough to go out, get provisions and a black coffee to go and be back in time to watch the Daily Show (a repeat, but I had missed that one). So by the time I got to bed much later, then got up today and took care of some shopping, it felt like a couple of days had passed.

I think I came out on top this time. It feels like I got 36 hours of fairly self-indulgent pampering on one day. Not going to grumble like that.
I hope you have a good time, not too spoons-intensive, over the next few days.
