I would like to ask the question of what have y'all been seeing God do in y'alls lives or in the country?
For me I have seen God do much in my life since I have been at college. One thing he did Thrusday night at a house church I attend, He showed me that I could serve people through prayer. I know you can pray for people, but I never thought of it being a way to serve people. Also that night We broke up in groups to pray and it was an exteremly powerful time. We prayed for the disaster area in Katrina's wake. Not just for safety in the area,but also for the souls that are lost down there. We also prayed for the President to be led by the Holy Spirit and to be encouraged to do what he is being led to do. I would like to encourage y'all to do the same, because pray is a powerful thing.
Another thing I have seen God do is have William Rehnquist die when he did. I do not know if he was a christian or not but I hope he was. Anyway, I was watching the Clemson game and a special report said that he died, and someone said something to the affect of "Shoot, this means Bush gets to appoint someone to the supreme court." Later on I thought that "Hey, God had his hand on this. He has his dictation on when Mr. Rehnquist died and God has his reasons." So, God was showing me that He has every thing under his control and he will do it to his glory and praise God for what he does.
Anyway, If your willing to share I would like to hear what God has been teaching y'all recently.
