Decided to login to Friendster and this is what my horoscope says....
The way you handled a recent conflict was quite an accomplishment -- it looks as though you're finally learning how to stand your ground against bombastic personalities! You should be proud of yourself -- and you shouldn't hesitate to use these new skills again. In fact, you might get a chance to do just that later today when a pleasant conversation suddenly takes an awkward turn. Get things back on track by speaking the truth and not giving in to peer pressure.
Bombastic personalities are the keywords here. Twice I had to stand up for what I believed in at work last week, and just earlier today at work (during a long full day for the weekend) I had to stand my ground and meted out a fair punishment to someone under my charge in the form of a verbal warning. A very stern one might I add. It was something I had never done before. But I simply had to.
Although it is true that a full 12 hours of work can get to you, thus being easily annoyed or irritated with even the littlest things, but said subject had it coming! Like I said, I'm known as the most genteel and soft-spoken staff at work. Even my charges know that. And many times this weakness have been exploited.
But today. Aah, today I felt like certain discipline had to be instilled. And that I did, with much calmness. Someone even remarked that I looked so serious and fierce! Lol.. it felt good, while I was doing it. But today, i also learned to make light of a serious situation.
And guess what? It worked. The charge I "spoke" to, came around much later, (after some reflections on his part I suppose), and apologised for his earlier behaviour. Woohoo! Power!
No wonder Spiderman 3 was reviewed as such.. "With the new black suit, comes a certain thirst for power."
But I assure you, the thirst for knowledge and the truth is much more droolsome. For with the truth, comes a greater sense of responsibility.
Hmm... speaking of droolsome... I've been developing a keen sense of attraction and interest in a certain culture called the G-men.
Recently found a few graphics drawn and to my greatest imagination to be really sexy.
A quick google threw up the G-men Magazine, which is the no. 1 Japanese gay men magazine. And as was written in the editable Wikipedia - Despite the inclusion of pornographic pictures and stories, however, G-Men is not considered a pornographic magazine. Read more
here.
Here's one that is currently tiled on my desktop.
Should you know or be personally involved or is a part of the G-men culture/lifestyle, more info would certainly be useful.
The same search also gave me
www.gproject.com which is the official G-men magazine website. However the website is in Japanese, and even after going through Yahoo's babelfish or Google Jap to Eng Beta, I still had problems navigating through the site. Yes, advanced translation sites just could not "translate" graphics. Not yet anyway.
