What's going on today? Nothing much really. I'm retaining water (really fun with an ankle wrap, let me tell you).
My landlord called earlier. Seems my downstairs neighbor is cold and his internet connection is down. Hmmm. Now why he couldn't knock on my DOOR and tell me that. ::eye roll:: So I reset the modem. Seems to be having troubles. I've been resetting it a couple of times a month. And now it's warm enough for an arthritis sufferer here. Not that I mind, because I'm aching like a sonofabitch with all these cold snaps.
::rah, rah:: Franken beat Coleman. Teehee. But my boss said it best on Tuesday. "I don't care who really won, just SEAT SOMEBODY already!"
Angie is in Austin, TX for work this weekend, and she's so damn mean she won't bring me back my BBQ Sauce or a slab of brisket. ::pout:: You'd think they'd let her bring it on a plane.
Mom and I baked cookies on Monday. She sent a batch off to her brother today. Apparently it made him quite happy. I had to leave my portion at Mom's because the frosting had yet to set. But I called her today and asked her to bring a bunch to work tomorrow. Because....
... I wanted to give Alex some of our cookies, as he loves them. Alex is going to be stopping by after work to drop off their old TV. Wheee! No more bouncing TV screen! I'm going to put the old one in my bedroom. Who cares about the picture, I mostly use for background noise to help fall asleep. So I should sign off, replace the lightbulbs in the stairwell and clean up enough for Alex to make it to the TV stand. Heheh.
