I survived
I spent six nights in a tent. At a campground with no showers and only cold water. Where you couldn't even have a water bottle in your tent for fear of bears. And spent two nights traveling by car. And I didn't kill anyone!
I'm back kiddies. Hopefully I'll get some reports and pictures up within the week. But I'm pretty tired.
My brother ended up with about 250 pix and I took about 400. Most are Ok, some are pretty kewl and a handful are stunning. I played a lot with the settings on my camera so I have many duplicate shots.
We did about 10 miles of hikes. I loved my hiking poles. Dad survived one day in his hiking boots, then switched back to his Teva sandals.
But all in all a wonderful trip. Next year we might try it again, but not so far from home. The BWCA perhaps.
