More random, of course
Well, let's see. I tried to start packing again. I got a stack of shit thrown into recycling/shredding bags. ::snork:: I also got one box cleaned out in the office. Found my two baseball gloves! And my Sandy!ball. Remember when we got our Sandy autographs, Qill13? Memories! And totally different time... Qendy scurrying on the outfield barrier to get that DJ homerun ball? Wee! Good times. I also found my baseball bead necklaces. I gotta tell y'all, I really miss that baseball insanity. I love sporting events, and going with Qill was so much fun, because she knew EVERYTHING about the game. I got a free ticket to the "home run porch" as I ordered a burger at Applebee's on Sunday. Kept wishing I had someone to go with again. I doubt I'll even get to use the ticket.
Dad's Mom is hospitalized again. If she's still doing poorly tomorrow, they're going to check her into hospice care in the hospital and call the family in. I'm torn between wishing her a release from her pain, and her sheer tenacity to keep going. Dad's a bit freaked of course. His brother is taking all the crap. Grandma's pretty much in dementia again. Poor Papa.
Work is SOOOOOO boring. I miss having all my fun customers. Not that I don't have anything to do, but still it's more fun when more people are coming in to distract me from the mundane chores.
I'm trying to keep the camping stuff separate when I'm packing. I just chucked the newly rescued baseball gloves in the camping pile. Also my car DC converter. Dad is toying with me bringing my laptop (aw shucks! heheh) as he has some stuff he'd like to edit some web stuff while we're gone.
The delivered a dumpster to my future home this morning. Looks like Chris is going to start on the bathroom soon. Whee! I'm so damn excited. Mom and I managed to go through most of my clothes on Sunday. I pitched two garbage bags worth of stuff. Took two to Goodwill. Mom took one too.
Oh and you know the guy with the comical grill outside his below-ground apartment? Well it must have died, because it's been replaced with a football shaped one. ::snork::
