MRI results back
I got a call on Friday that my leg MRI was fine. No evidence of any tumor.
But I got another call today that my Lumbar MRI did show a couple of wonky disks. Apparently the disk between L3-L4 is protruding. Well two of them actually, but I can't recall the other location. I'm having them send me the written results so I can decide what to do. My doctor is actually out of town right now, so I've got a while.
I don't think I'm ready for cortisone shots. Lord help me, it's not that bad. My dad had one in the 80s, and they actually pierced the spinal sheathing and he was a wreck for 18 months. Nope, I'd have to be neigh on paralyzed before I'd go for that. I despise cortisone shots. I had one in my thumb once. ::shudder:: Nothankyouverymuch.
But on the plus side, this weekend has also resulted in one wonderful thing. I now own a llama cookie cutter. I know you're jealous.
