Wednesday's class is a breeze as Macy (a female lec) gave us one lil' lecture that ended another royal 2.5 hours early (and before, I went and helped her to 'fix' the cranky iBook that won't read her disc - and as all the people who worked the iBook before - they forgot to turn the File Sharing feature on. NOW I know how.)
After that...it's experimenting with IV2's simplified drawings (doesn't minimal shading on an object equates to simplified drawing? @-@)...
...and today, CG class is not bad as I had fun tinkering with the MML-3's AutoCAD-equipped PCs (Hewlett-Packard computers!! They are SO much friendlier than Dells - every single Dell computer I'd ever worked on will ALWAYS crashed on me. Check out my school record, oh, and that incident where I got chased out from the ITC (IT Centre) along with some of my pals for damaging school property@those cranky Dells. Like, wHaT?!) and TTL (with Macy, those Macy seems like an observer tutor only, she didn't teach much) gave us a good intro to AutoCAD - he really starts from the basic @ he teaches us basic maths of graphs - y'know, those x-y coordinates, origin, positive when counterclockwise, etc.
Pretty easy to understand, and AutoCAD is pretty new to me, but I'd sorted out how to input commands and bring certain stuff up e.g. the List or History and changing the 2D view to ooooh, isometric and that sorts. I STILL can't get those mesh and rendered surfaces to appear in all the views, but I'm guessing TTL will reveal later (or, if I'll just go and check the online tutorial when I'm free...)
Then, had lunch with
akiyumi87 at Delifrance@Pyramid (and I'd realized Delifrance's concept has become the Bistro-style@self-service sort, no longer those staff people helping to grab that bread/bun/tart for ya), then head on over for Margaret's CTCD class that's combined with the Illo people...
...and though most of the people who have attended this class found it 1)boring and 2)the lecturer boring, I think it's because she rambled lotsa history stuff about China and the West (which, obviously, is not everyone's cuppa tea), but her ideas and whatever stuff about creative thinking made sense. Hell, she'd inserted a little subliminal message related to Sun Zi's Art of War somewhere halfway near the end of the lecture (but I doubt 3/4 the class got it)
Aaaanyway, there's the BC class tomorrow, I'm having doubts/slight worries after the last class handled by a Malay taught us literally nothing (not that I'm racist, mind ya, I have met many excellent Malay teachers, like Pn.Jam and Cik Zakiah in SSC), and from the name, it suggests A-R-C-H-I-T-E-C-T-U-R-E @ building structures, joineries, anything to do with the engineering part of a house/building.
Oh well, we'll see how tomorrow goes.
OH, and my neighborhood here @ Bangsar Baru area will face a blackout from 10am to 7pm because the TNB guys are installing some new generator in the generator station here - I saw a big trailer and some big machines in it parked right outside the station just yesterday. And Mom received the circular regarding this, so:
1) I won't be home - I can't watch my TV, I can't play my PS2, I can't use my broadband to surf the Net!! DX
2) My music class will be postponed to somewhere next week
3) I CAN go online via dial-up in Dad's shop, but that is, if I go to his place
Soooo....YEah...we'll see how things turn out for tomorrow's class first though.
