Busy Weekend + Pre-Wedding Strike!

Sep 19, 2009 23:47

Today I had a fun day out with Chris, Cons and Crystal (Triple C!!! XD; *is shot*) after a somewhat tardy gouache class (well, it's due to the rainy weather all day long), and it's definitely good to know something beforehand about lino-graving (um, is that even a word? XD;;;), silk-screen painting (SUGEEEEHHH!!!!!), and a coupla more other different but just as equally fascinating engravings (metal and glass).

LET's hope my fingers don't DIE from peeling them rubber from the A4-sized linograph using the tools in the span of that...2 weeks? before it's due for submission in Week 7!!! =w=;;;

(heheh...looks like Chris has the easier silk-screen job >D and Rex...well, right now I have to take his word about him able to do the batik-printing since he did it for SPM, but with a sprinkle of salt ye...gimme 3rd-rate job/telling me later he doesn't know laaaater on, and I'll definitely unleash my (in)famous cekik-ing skill Level 10 on him before he can plead for mercy! >])

In the mean time, there's Hogzilla's royale wedding to crash attend - but not without a little bit of cosplay dress-up thrown into the mix >DDD

Seeing that
1) I've cut my hair waaaaay too short to my liking =w=;;; and
2) I'm feeling DA MOOD!

I've meticulously set about to preparing the disguises setup I'll need for both the morning @ tea-serving ceremony and the night @ wedding dinner sessions >D

In the day, I'll pull a Cain White Knight ensemble - cream-coloured longcoat, frilly-collared white shirt, white trousers and white shoes. And a purple English-inspired rose-brooch (if it fits!), and possibly, white corsages @ white rose-bands, tied to a part of the body >DDD

By night, well, depending on my mood, I'll either go as the lady version (tentative: Black Orchid) or the guy version (none other than Zails!) >D

Lady version - I've got that AWESOME! black coat with a frilly-cravat-front, a long beige ruffled-edged dress, and just recently bought, a black lace skirt. YEAAAAAP YOU READ THAT RIGHT FOLKS LAMMY'S GOT HERSELF A SKIRT! To complete the ensemble, there's the lady shoes (because it's got a 0.75-inch-high heel) with fitted white roses (corsage used in the alternative manner!), and black tights.

(now, if only I have a black umbrella...>D)

Guy version - that same AWESOME! black coat with a frilly-cravat-front, white Victorian shirt (due to the insane amount of lace and beads on it), black goldstripe pants, and black shoes. If (crazy!) circumstances permit, I'll add the black gloves, dark magician hat, and accessorize with the purple English brooch and eye-chain XD;

(but yeap, the last option seems appealing XD;;; Heck, IF I were to go as 110% FULL Victorian Goth, the cane, chain(s), silver-wig, gold stopwatch, and a stalk of rose will have to be in play - but is definitely not feasible for Dad will jump first before the rest of the guests XD;;; So moderation in check...)

After all, knowing Hogzilla, he's bound to invite MOAR lady-friends of his to the dinner, and it'll be devilishly FUN! to confound the guests (especially Mother's morning-exercise aged lady-friends!!!) and get them to guess who is this young lad XD;

Will I managed to pull a Desire (Morpheus' sister-brother) or will I phail at the attempt at a better crossplay? It'll be up to that Night to see the outcome!!!

Expect pictures (I'll try not to bust your browser XD;;;) and witty commentary in the next few entries! ^+++++++++^

Until then, to Victorian victory! and blessed be ;),
-L
