It sounds like a sad sad SAD romantic love poem that a rejected dejected guy will sing - and hold on, it gives the implication that the dude might be some vampire, since he really wanted to fly, yet he slept in front of her with his blood-red fingernails (probably spending one last night with her?)...but he wants to fly with his siblings yet he couldn't leave her behind...
And hence he was stuck in a dilemma between choosing her or them, but his in-born nocturnal instincts won, and he cries under the rain for lost love...
.....*waaaaaaaaah*
EDIT: That poem sure did inspire some dark art.
...And I guess that is my current mood and state of mind.
