summer shopping spree update
Oh I forgot. The other day, I bought two career skirts at $5 each, totalling $11.50 (tax inclusive). And also a short-sleeved turtleneck at $11.49 (tax inclusive). Grand total of $360.02 (tax inclusive). Using all my dirty money for 13 tops, 10 bottoms, 1 jacket, 1 dress, 2 prs. of shoes isn't so bad. What kills me is spending $140 approx. for medicine ($60), accessories ($30), cosmetics ($10), toiletries and other feminine/health&beauty care products ($40) on top of that. Grrrr. That's just me being a girl.
At least, I don't spend $200 freakin bucks on a FAKE Prada or Louis Vuitton bag or even $2000 for a real pair of Manolo Blahnik or Steve Madden shoes. That's just crazy. But a lot of girls do it. Count me out of that crazy shit. For me, the joy of shopping is not how much I spent, but how much I saved by bargain-hunting. I bee-line straight to the sale/bargain bin/rack and not look at others. Of course, you have to know what a good deal is, and what is just plain waste of a toonie. Some clothes aren't even worth a dollar. Yuk.
