I love my job more.

*phone rings*
Me:Workplace. How may I help you?
Guest: I want to make a reservation.
Me: We don't do reservations. We do call-ahead seating. Are you familiar with that?
Guest: Last time they let me do a reservation. Why don't you do reservations anymore?
Me: We never have. We do call-ahead seating, which just means we don't set aside a table for you, and if we go on a wait, you'll get the next in line.
Guest: Is this the one on *location of store?*
Me: Yes, ma'am.
Guest: Well, last time I was in there, they let me make a reservation for 10! And the table was ready when we got there! And the time before that!
Me: Yes, ma'am, sometimes it works out well. If you'd like to do a call-ahead, I can do that for you.
Guest: I want to make a reservation.
Me: *breathes* I would be happy to take a call-ahead for you, if you'd like.
Guest: Well it'll be Friday. Should I call back Friday morning?
Me: I can take it for you right now, if you'd like.
Guest: For Friday? You can do it now?
Me: I can do it right now.
Guest: Okay, the name is *name*
Me: What time would you like it for?
Guest: Oh, the normal time.
Me: *pause* Do you normally come a certain time?
Guest: Yes, we all take lunch at 11:30.
Me: So, then would you like it for 11:30?
Guest: Yeah, the normal time.
Me: Okay, ten at 11:30 for *name* We'll see you Friday.
Guest: Do I need to call back Friday morning?
Me: No, I have you down in the book.
Guest: Oh. Okay. Will my table be ready when we get there?
Me: *cries*

Plus I got yelled at for not knowing a menu item was removed (the button was still in Micros) THREE times. I think I figured it out after the first time, really.
