but it's my pet peeve...along with mussing up et cetera.

it's not intensive purposes, it's: for all intents and purposes.

unless of course you were making a play on words; then by all means...intensive purposes it is!

i used to fuck it up all the time and then i felt like such a jack ass when i found out what it really was, so, now i go around correcting everyone to make myself feel better. :)

1) intensive is more fun to say and i find the idea of "intensive purposes" to be more amusing than "intents and purposes" which is terribly dull and uninteresting ( ... )

oh man i'm sorry. i didn't mean to sound shitty. really.
it's just those 2 things really that i correct. et cetera and that. just cause i think that people might want to know what that saying really is instead of fucking it up all the time. or rather, i guess i'd just like to get the word out so i don't have to cringe anymore.
i don't know you, so i don't know if you know correct grammer, or care...but i thought you'd just like to know. it was a friendly pointer is all. i, myself, am kinda obsessed with vocabulary and such so it's the type of thing i'd like pointed out to me.
