Tank-Boy's Tank Book

A couple of years ago, I saw TaNK magazine for the first time. compact enough to fit in a lady's handbag, TaNK is one of the hippest magazines of its kind although it looks very simple and the concept is very basic, part of it being without advertisement. TaNK covers fashion, design and photojournalism and it's a great pleasure just to touch and browse. I have only one issue of TaNK although I once had three... someone must have 'borrowed' them.

they have a nice webpage: TaNK magazine.

And now, shl gave me the TaNK book! At first sight, it looks like an oversized soft-packet of cigarettes.

Opening the package, a heavy book is revealed, spanning over more than 600 pages a variety of photos taken from the past ten years' editions. As the first limited editions are collector's items today and not available anymore, this is a very nice way to get those great pictures of the fresh and talented photographers, fashion designers and visual artists featured in the early editions. Apart from the introduction, there's no more accompanying text. The work of more than 100 artists, some known, some still promising unknown talents, speaks for itself.

I really like TaNK book [no connection to my name ]. I already know that it will be one of those inspiring books that I'll browse through again and again for years.

tank-boy? no, it's tank book.
