I made a mimsies fansite. I used some pics that I know you took... but I also linked you. If you have more pics, songs, lyrics...anything to contribute, I'd appreciate it.
I'll see what I can dig up! Unfortunatly the Mimsies broke up before I went digital so most of my pictures on in the fourm of massive boxes of mixed prints and random bags of negatives. I know at one point I scanned about half of the warp tour negs to cd so if I can find those it would be easy to get some to you. or if I can dig up some of the classic prints I can scan them. I live in Norman again so perhaps I can meet you and give you a disc some time.
Thanks for the link to tanksworld! I'll admit however that site is a bit outdated. I plan on updating it sometime in the near future but of course my list of things to do is quite long these days. A few more current sites which might be better to link to would be www.johnthomasphotography.net and my new bands site www.syloken.com
I'm glad to see a good mimsies fan site! did you by chance make the myspace page as well?

I did not make the MySpace. I was tempted to... but someone made it first (I was debating, because I didn't want to make it and build it up and then have it crash...another devistating blow to the already fragile fans). I messaged that person and told them we should team up and help each other out (common goal, and all) but I've not gotten a reply yet...
I'll update the link(s). I'm actually really glad you responded because if you hated it and wanted me to pull your pics... well... I would have had a lot less cool pics. =)
Anything you can dig up would be really appreciated. ANYTHING. I feel (since my personal loss of data/stuff and then the archive.org and other internet stuff going away) that I was working with very little (in comparison, I guess) and I just want EVERYTHING documented since things will just entropy even worse...
I mean, doing a google search for the Mimsies may give evidence that they existed, but nothing that would satisfy a fan needing a pop-culture fix, and I guess that was my goal... still is. I'm talking with some fans that have a bigger Mimsies library than I do and trying to get lots more up.
sorry, I'm rambling. I'm excited.
Well, lemme know if you find anything. Even scans of the liner notes would rock, heh.
I've set up a special email for the website... mimsies at gmail dot com
