Today I worked on Mr. Mason's house. He fed us 4-ft po'boys for lunch - 3 kinds: shrimp, oyster, and sausage. My first po' boy - delicious. We built and replaced beams, removed siding, and wandered the neighborhood taking pictures. I especially liked the juxtaposition of the burned out SUV in front of the shiny new elementary school.

Then I chopped veggies, did dishes, and made 2 gallons of impromptu rice pudding with leftover rice.

Tonight - Bourbon Street!
