Thanks, and there have been issues in regards to shippers being treated in a similar fashion on another forum that I'm a part of... so in return, I came up with the phrase... "I'm a Phile first, (and) a Shipper second." That was just meant to show others that there are other kinds of Shippers out there, not just one kind of them. And that the majority of us really do care about the plotline... more than the MSR -- that's just the icing on the cake, so to speak :D.

That's very good. I feel just that way. I was always a minor X-files fan when I was younger and then forgot about the show for a while after it ended. It was only when I recently rediscovered the show that I started really appreciating the MSR. Also, I am not the type who keeps a ship in each of several fandoms. This is the only fandom in which I'm really active, let alone ship.
