Maybe anybody can help me out here with an iTunes / video problem...?
Situation:
Many months ago, there was a TV series not available in Germany yet, also not in the German iTunes store - but it was on the American iTunes store, so I bought it with a second iTunes account (as I was not allowed to shop in the US store with my German account... bla bla, I know iTunes sucks).
Problem:
It worked fine, I can also watch the videos on my computer, but now I have the video files (16 episodes) as MP4 connected to that other iTunes account. When I now run my main (German) iTunes account, it of course will not let me put those videos on my Apple devices, as it's saying these videos were bought with a different account. Please do not comment about how iTunes sucks and you would use a different player anyways - I know it sucks, I still like my Apple devices and I just need help with the video format.
Solution?
I know it works fine with MP3 music files to just convert them from the "protected" iTunes format to a regular file which you can use anywhere again (also on other iTunes accounts). I am pretty sure there must be a way to remove the DRM protection from the iTunes videos - but unfortunately I do not have any experience with converting videos. :/
Does anybody have experience with this, how to remove the DRM protection from iTunes videos? I am using Windows.
Thank you very much for any help! :)
