hmmmm
So, I kind of forgot about this whole livejournal thingy, because I fukked up my computer by being an idiot, and jordan had to scrap everything and fix it for me.... So, here I am. Things have been bordering on interesting lately. The main thing is the my mom has been in the hospital for 6 out of the last 8 days. For about 5 of them, they coudln't figure out what is wrong with her. At this point, I'm not sure what the real problem was, but the story I'm getting was either she had blood poisoning, or a bacteria/infection in her system some place. All I know is she was in so much pain she was doped up on morphine every time I tried to call her. And of course my dad isn't very forthcoming with info. Grrrr. Apparently she is able to go home tomorrow night, but they are sticking her with a shunt (?) and a bunch of bags of IV stuff and last I heard she has to stay rested for 2 weeks. This is one of the few times when I wish I lived closer to my family.
On a lighter note, I'm thinking about continuing my education. I've decided to get "serious about success" and look into Devry's online program. Seeing as how NIU is the closest 4-year school to me, and I'm not really up for that drive after a day at work, so this seemed like a decent option. I'm looking into the financial aspect of it, and we'll see how things go. I could be back "in school" as early as Aug 29th! Weeeee....
