Why: This story blew me away. I started reading out of a vague sense of curiosity, and within paragraphs I found myself completely captivated. syldana uses vivid imagery and the aforementioned wonderful characterization to produce an absolutely wonderful futurefic. This honestly feels like it could be real, right down to the tennis.
