Finally, an alternative to Hatch; vote for Peter Ashdown for US Senate 2006! Even if you don't live in Utah, consider donating time or money to the campaign. Ashdown is good people and a breath of air (alternative to suffocation) to the anti-human legislative bills that Orrin Hatch attempts to get passed... like 'physically destroying the computer of anyone who uses file sharing'. What the hell is that about? I do live in Utah, but even if I didn't, there needs to be a stop to the damage that Orrin Hatch has caused and proposed.
Orrin Hatch is the same Senator who called Democrats the "party of homosexuals," made sneering and derogatory comments to Anita Hill, and who himself was investigated in 1993 for helping a business associate get a loan from the infamous Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) which swindled Americans and others of more than $8 billion. Hatch defended the bank until the last possible moment.
