I'LL UNDO HUG. (Also: Jobs)
Just a small Stupid Shit update:
Alastair and I had a semi-awkward (from my end) moment today. We were walking after class and we got to where we parted ways. He told me to have a good time at Disneyland this weekend (oh yeah, I'm leaving Thursday to Monday) and I thanked him and did this kind of weird move where I had my arms slightly outstretched from my sides-- I was just doing a weird shrug/stretch. He interpreted it differently.
Him: "Might as well." *hugs me*
Me: "........Um."
Then we parted ways. And it wasn't awkward, only confusing, until I realized how he had misinterpreted my crazy stretch move. So now... he probably thinks I like him back since we hugged so early in our friendship.
And I kind of wish I DID like him that way. That kid... belongs to pretty much every fandom I mention. Even the really obscure ones. It's driving me crazy! Why can't I like him? Ugh.
On the brighter side:
- We had to find people to group with for our upcoming group projects-- we have to design a main web page with buttons that animate. I found an awesome group. It consists of a nice lady named Veronnica and an adorable Disney-obsessed couple. They were quoting the Lion King today: "Oooooh, Mufasaaa." It is so wonderful. And our decided site theme is 1930s Hollywood! Super fun. :)
- I leave for Disneyland Thursday morning. Just gotta get through tomorrow.. that's all I have to do..
And lastly, JOBS. This is x-posted from my deviantART journal:
So.. I'm looking for a job. An online job. My schedule doesn't work for an actual job, but I'd really like to make some money. I'm pretty good at crazy voices, so I joined Voices.com, so hopefully I can make some money through that-- I'd really like to voice some animations (like Flash), but there aren't any fun offers like that up on that web site. Anyone have character voices needed? I have a wide range of sounds. xD
I'm also asking if any of y'all have ideas for online jobs. I'd be up for anything art/voice-acting related. Or just anything creative, send it my way. Or... just any thing that doesn't require real-life activity, because my school schedule just won't allow for that right now.
Also (last thing!) would anyone be interested in commissions? If so, I'll figure out pricing and make a journal.
